Artis Ventures, a San Francisco-based venture capital firm, has successfully closed its fourth fund, TechBio II, at $200 million. This fund is dedicated exclusively to the TechBio sphere, focusing on companies that utilize data, software, AI, machine learning, and deep learning to revolutionize human health and well-being.

Led by Managing Partners Stuart Peterson and Vasudev Bailey, Artis Ventures funds companies at the intersection of computer science and life science.

Hyperlink Ventures

North America | Series A and Series B | Enterprise Software

Hyperlink launched their inaugural $32M fund with 3 leading partners: Eli Cole, Sarosh Adi, and Piran Adi. They will invest in a variety of enterprise software companies in vertical SaaS, data, infrastructure, security, dev tools, BI, and HR Tech. Eli will be leading the sourcing and diligence efforts for the firm.

Pivotal BioVenture Partners

North America and Europe | Seed and Series A | Therapeutics

Pivotal bioVenture Partners Fund II just closed at $389M bringing their total AUM to $689 million. Pivotal is looking to invest in startups that are leveraging data analytics and artificial intelligence within therapeutics. Their investment team is being led by managing partner, Peter Bisgaard.

Baird Capital

United States | Series A and Series B | B2B Tech and Services

Baird has launched their 6th U.S. Venture Capital fund with a total of $218M in committed capital. The fund has invested in three companies to date: Austin, Texas-based software company Osano; Minnesota-based software company Parallax and Indianapolis-based SaaS management company Zylo. Partners of the fund include Joanna Arras, Mark Donnelly, Jim Pavlik, and Benedict Rocchio.

Europe | Series A and Series B | Software

Partech launches its successor €360M venture fund to back mission-critical software for SMB’s and enterprise clients. The 4 investment areas they are focusing on are Application Software, Deep Tech Software, B2B & B2B2C Vertical Platforms, and Fintech & Insurtech Applications. The international team, led by Philippe Collombel and Reza Malekzadeh, are looking to invest in companies with $1M to $10M ARR.
