Jack Altman Raises $150M Venture Fund

Jack Altman, brother to Open AI CEO Sam Altman, has raised a $150 million venture capital fund for his new firm, Alt Capital.

Speedinvest, a pan-European early-stage venture capital fund, has successfully closed its fourth early-stage fund, Speedinvest 4, at €350 million.

The firm prefers to lead deals of up to €1M in pre-seed rounds and up to €3M for seed rounds.

They have six dedicated sector-focused investment teams: Deep Tech, Fintech, Health & TechBio, Climate Tech & Industrial Tech, Marketplaces & Consumer, and SaaS & Infra.

Niremia Collective, a Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm, has raised $22.5 million for its first fund, focused on well-being technology. Founded by Naoko Okumoto and Nichol Bradford, the fund aims to invest in startups at the pre-seed and seed stages that are dedicated to improving human happiness and health.

The women led VC firm has already invested in 12 startups including Feno, an AI-powered oral care service; Tripp, a VR/XR wellness platform; and DeepWell, which specializes in mental health treatment using gaming.

Thomas Otter and Jason Corsello have announced their second fund, Acadian Ventures Fund II. This $30 million early-stage fund focuses on future of work startups with a focus on intelligent work applications, work infrastructure, new regulatory and compliance, and the emerging global workforce.

Practica Capital has closed its third fund to date, the Practica Venture Capital III. This €80 million fund will support early-stage tech startups in Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia by leading seed rounds.

While agnostic, they will focus on areas like SaaS and Deep/Industrial tech and have already invested in 6 startups to date.
