United States | Pre-seed to Series A | Software, Fintech, Sports
NBA superstar Andre Iguodala is retiring and transitioning to lead Mosaic, a $200 million venture capital fund. While this is a new chapter for Iguodala, he is no rookie to early-stage investing. He has put money towards notable startups such as Allbirds, Hims, Coinbase, Carta, and Zoom.

Shield Capital, a defense technology-focused venture firm, has exceeded its target by raising $186 million for its inaugural fund. The fund supports early-stage startups with scalable technologies in national security and commercial markets. Managed by industry experts, the firm's portfolio spans AI, autonomy, cybersecurity, and space technologies.

The firm closed a $75 million seed fund, its third cybersecurity fund in three years. The firm is led by Dropbox and Blackstone veterans: Art Coviello, Jay Leek, and Patrick Heim.

The seed stage firm closed its first fund at $61M. Revroad focuses on investing in U.S. founders across diverse sectors like electric vehicles, artificial intelligence, SaaS, and manufacturing.

Paris-based venture capital firm Breega has launched its "Europe Seed III" fund with a minimum target of $150 million. Building on the success of their previous funds, they will continue to support early-stage startups across Europe.
