U.S. and Emerging Markets | Seed and Series A | Fintech
The four-year-old firm, Flourish Ventures, has closed a new $350M fund bringing their total AUM to to $850M. They have a sole LP in eBay founder Pierre Omidyar. Managing Partner Emmalyn Shaw is emphasizing their interest in B2B payments, vertical SaaS, and data analytics across banking and insurance.

Former Salesforce Ventures Investor, Jackson Cummings, is starting WAV along with 3 other partners. All four members of the firm have ties to the nonprofit BLCK VC. This new $150M fund will invest $1M - $6M checks into founders “who have been overlooked and have that chip on their shoulder.”
Global | Early Stage | Healthcare
Sofinnova Partners is a juggernaut in life sciences. The firm has been investing for over 50 years with more than 500 companies to their name. They are based in Paris, London, and Milan but invest globally with this new fund being called the Digital Medicine I fund. They will focus on three key areas: enabling technologies, analytics, and treatment.

This past week, AM Ventures announced the final closing of their $100M fund. They will invest exclusively in startups built around industrial-grade 3D printing offerings including hardware, software, materials, and applications.
